38 weeks

Are we there yet? Last night i had pretty intense contractions, but nothing that we could sit and say "oh, these are happening at regular intervals-let's go to the hospital". had a few this morning already. so, she's definately on her way. it's difficult though-not knowing what my body is telling me, or trying to figure out what's going on. Nothing like having contractions and having to read the magazine the hospital provided for us to figure out how to count them. Kids really do need manuals! So in the mean time, it's a waiting game. We'll keep you all posted that's for sure!!

Matt's "New Baby" Gift

The fact that Matt ordered 24 decks of cards and bought a 1,000 piece poker chip set but had no poker table to play on was hint enough to me that he wanted a table for his new man cave created my dad and he created out of the basement. So, he was surprised with a "new baby" gift yesterday-beats all of the other ones he's gotten! Now he's gotta clean house and win momma and baby a new pair of shoes!

Had my 36 week check up last night, and she's officially on her pilgrimage-1 whole centimeter dilated!! Yeah!!

Shower

Grama Lechner had a beautiful shower this weekend for baby and me. I am so blessed to have been with my family and friends-what a blast to be together for a very special reason. Baby girl was loaded up with tons of unbelievable gifts. They are amazing!! Everything from entertaining toys and classic books, to adorable clothes (my little fashionista is on her way!), to her stroller and play pen to even an adorable silver "my first tooth" holder (hard to imagine that what's inside of me will be at a tooth-loosing point and she isn't even here yet!). Everything we were so blessed to be given is so much appreciated. Now all we need is the best gift yet-baby!! Last night i felt like i was having menstrual cramps all evening. According to the new moms i know that is the beginning of the end!!! Yea!!

Here we are at 28, 32 and 35 weeks. It's so hard to imagine their's a little baby in there. Tomorrow i'll be 36 weeks, and she's about 5.5 pounds, 18.5 inches long-all that jammed in my belly!! She had a serious case of the hiccups yesterday for about 10 minutes straight. Perfect opportunity for me to sit and video my belly so she can see that some day

Baby Shower

We're excited for this weekend-Grama Lechner is throwing baby Good a shower. Can't wait to see family!
